There are many Grateful Dead tribute bands (some might say too many). These guys are perhaps the most impressive:http://www.archive.org/details/2001-07-31.paf.sbd.vernon.6687.sbeok.flacf

P and F are not Dead tribute band and that's a pretty *** thing to suggest. I sure you are flaming.
The best Dead tribute band is Dark Star Orchestra.

Born Cross Eyed is awfully good too, not as widely known but can really bring it:

Used to see them an awfully lot when I lived in Lexington, KY.

True Phil and Friends is not a tribute band, it is a cover band.

A very good one, but still a cover band.

If you see them again, don't bother to tell Jay Lane how cool it was to see Bobby with Billy Cobham and Alphonso Johnson in Bobby and the Midnites as he'll just shake his head and grin (or was that a grimace?).
